Anyone using rudder pedals in PS2?

I'm an old school flight-sim junkie, and really prefer to have rudder control with my feet.

Is anyone using them? I could see using them for aircraft, as well as on tanks.

I was actually trying to do just that yesterday, but it would not pick up any input from my Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals. I can set it to emulate A and D but sadly that only gives me the immersion, none of the precision
