Hey!

I am just a new 'will be ps2 player'.
love all the given info so far, this sounds like a truly epic game.
Probably going to join up with the Terran Republic

Play in US Eastern time, mostly towards 8pm+ but occasionally at all times of the day and night.
Just built my latest PC, specs at bottom, hoping for the next gen bulldozer core to come out so i can throw it in and have better marks, but the system overall is great as is for almost anything i throw at it nice price/power balance imo...

some gaming history...
recently had my guild fall apart in EQ2, decided I would wait for the next mmo that got me excited, this is it... screw Star Wars TOR lol.

played games my whole life, from as far back as I can remember I had some form of game playing, Atari 2600/NES when I was young than moved up to Sega > PS1/n64...
than I discovered PC gaming and have since been hooked. IMO nothing beats the mouse and KB combo.

first shooter was Doom via DOS and/or Wolfenstein (was pretty young lol probably should not have been playing them but did =p)
Played some CS back when it was new, loved playing old school FPS like Quake and Unreal tournament (fav game for a while was UT GOTY and than I played a little bit of ut2K4)
Half-life 1 and 2 + all extras
TF Classic a little
some TF2

I do not have much experience with modern FPS like CoD or BF, didn't like that companies started to cater to Xbox, plus I was so involved with EQ2 had no time.

Played RTS games for a bit, Age of Empires was one of my fav. along with Total annihilation(still among my fav's today!) StarCraft 2, played single player didn't really like. I like how in TA you could build some awesome bases with all kinda turrets and towers and crap. lol sometimes I just played to see how long my base could survive. =p

EQ2 mostly hardcore Raiding 7+ years
Station Access account, messed around in a few of SOE's other games.
messed around in Rift for about 2 or 3 weeks
played DDO for a good month or so
Played EVE for a good 2-3 months
skyrim...

going to go look up some info on PS1 to see some of the basic stuff/faq..

lol so bored atm, I am at a point where I would rather read info about ps2 on forums and news sites than play any of my current games. =p
