what ever happened to winning or losing gracefully?

Oh my bad I forgot American kiddies were in the mix. Its over gloating or swaggering is not going to change anything neither is being a constant victim. Its all a bit distasteful to be quite honest as are the digs at the people who set it up.

And this is the issue, using a Jackhammer or a MCG doesn't require an in depth understanding of the weapon to use effectively compared to a Lasher. Sure, 90% of the TR and NC userbase may not use their HA to the maximum effectiveness possible, but that doesn't change the fact that utilizing those weapons requires a very low skill cap in comparison to the Lasher. The Lasher has inherent downsides when we put it in the context of Planetside. Players who abuse warping/netcode and 3rd person only compound the issues the Lasher has in a matchup between itself and rival HA weapons.

The Lasher isn't useless, but there are a lot of issues that simply make it less appealing and effective than every other HA in the hands of the average joe which comprises the vast majority of each empires population. (No, your empire isn't completely filled with tactical geniuses who could qualify for Quake Live tournaments or CS teams)

VS got double-teamed, it happens.
On the empire war of the planetside day it was TR that got double teamed, yet managed to keep the capital.

It was a combination of early hack, the only dropship center (who doesn't want one) and geographic location (smack in the middle).

Even during the double teaming there was fighting between TR and NC, either near Atar or between TR and NC bases.

Actually during the Empire War the vast majority of NC and VS were up north attacking each other. Only a small contingent of VS were south at Cetan. You won the capitol because AFAIK you were the only empire who cared or even made an attempt to take it and the sub-caps to the south and east.

We got double-teamed back into Cetan as our only base. In the same manner as VS was double-teamed back into Atar.
