I was thinking, and with all of the people (including me) talking about how bad the devs are, i thought i'd start a thread looking at the brighter side.

Thanks on the last patch devs, you fixed the door bug and the spawn tube problem. 2 of the most annoying bugs so far.

thanks for doing jack shit devs. you work reallll hard to give us umm... some sort of alright stuff i guess.

am i the only one that thinks the devs should work 9-5 for their salary??

i think the devs did a great job of balancing the heavy assault weapons, and the teams would be a lot more balanced if every traitor in the game didn't suddenly switch to vanu and pick up HA. seriously, lashers are more common now than jackhammers ever were.

The last patch was good and all, but they really went a little crazy on the Lasher. It's more fun to fight the NC now. The only upside to fighting the Vanu is to laugh at them when they use the MCG. Hehe.

... Too bad you can't loot Lashers because the corpses (gears) decay in a snap.

There is now the problem with the walking dead now though. Also I managed to get my galaxy inside(yes, inside) the HART building. But over all I think it was a good patch.

I could be wrong, but I think they band-aid fixed this by stopping people from actually receiving more than 100 HP. Last night I kept getting a message that because of population my HP had been adjusted by 3, but it never went above 100 and I never saw a corpse running around.

Ouch, I think Hamma summed that up nicely. For all the slamming that people give them, I think the Devs really deserve a pat on the back for what they've managed to do thus far. We're talking a few years of labor here, people.

If you don't think the Devs do jack shit, then why are you wasting your time and ours posting something fruitless here? Go to college, become a game designer and make your own damn game. There's so many flops published every year that it's bad enough people have to rush in drag down even remotely-good titles by pointing out every flaw and attempting to discredit the people behind it.

If you've ever known somebody working in the industry, you'll see that their 9-5 day can quickly drag into the wee hours of the morning. When Beta Testing SWG, there was one guy who would log on and take time out of his personal life at home to ensure the server was running smoothly, and even keeping it up past scheduled hours so that people could continue to play.

Are you going to complain that the Fire Department isn't doing it's job because you didn't see them putting out a fire?

Yes I got a door bug too. I used my uber l337 stealthy skills(heh heh) to sneak to the back door of orisha. Then I pulled out my rek and started hacking.... but.... the... hacking meter won't show up!!!!!!! wtf!!! klafj;sdfa. But I would like to be constructive here and post a thing that the devs did correctly. They removed all the bandwagon noobs from NC and moved them to VS. I am sincerely thankful for this. My grief has gone down and I am getting more satisfaction from taking a base, like we actually used skill instead of n00bhammers.
