More Cert Points To New Players?

SamHayne has started an In Concept discussion with an idea to give new players 7 certification points rather than the current 4:

Ok, let's face it, BR 1 with 4 certs stinks. Sure, you could spend a half hour in VR trying out all the weapons and vehicles and running around to all the first time help and make BR 3 or 4, but who wants to do that when you want to spend your time shooting stuff!

As a proposal to help out new players, we are plotting to do the following:

Remove the cert point you get at BR 6, 12 and 18. Your reward for making those ranks will be the Implant slot you receive.Give these 3 cert points to BR 1 characters, so that a new player starts off with 7 certs right out of the box.

This really changes no existing characters. Their certs are just pushed around, but everyone would still have the same number of them (and lower ranked characters would actually get more certs). Thoughts?
