I have Windows XP Home Edition, and every time I leave my computer on for a few hours with nothing running besides AIM and the SigX app, I come back and my computer has either crashed or frozen up, more often frozen up. What can I do to fix this?

SixX may be causing the problem, try turning that off.

Either that or it has something to do with sleep mode. Some computers don't like going into sleep mode (my last one didn't it always crashed or froze in the same way when I left it alone too long). Go into your power settings and switch all the settings to "never". It could have something to do with suspend to RAM or hard drive power-down. This would explain why it only does this when you leave your computer alone for a few hours.
