Parachuting ?

Terran Elite Airborne Regiment

Well what i've been wondering about is, are we gonna be able to jump off the G-class dropships, or any other Drop/assualt air fighters. Is there gonna be parachutes (2 old), Thrusters, or like jet packs? If you can answer this question come and post. Or if you cant and would like to ask something else in this thread about a related object go ahead its free.

Yes, you can bail. I think some invisible paratroopers (using Infiltration suits, obviously) could be quite effective

I think Hamma should write an FAQ including everything known about planetside so far and when you register it pops up on the screen and u can't post until its been there for an hour

I read through the offical FAQ (useless) and all of PSU and the offical sites before i posted any questions. It doesnt take long to gain enough knowlegde not to sound like an idiot here. After awhile i found the PSU FAQ, plus all the interveiws. Before i had 4 posts i knew more about the game then alot of people who were up to soldier. Spend an hour reading and you dont need to ask anything except theoretical questions.

ANYWAY

Yes you can eject and bail/drop from a galaxy. There are "kinetic dampeners" jet pack of sorts that slows your decent. It does not work if you are too low however.

Hamma would you mind attaching a thread with the PSU FAQ and a few other helpful pages to the top of the forum? Might cut down on the "snippy posts", and its a huge help to anyone new.
