Walking around

With how huge the playing area will be, does anyone know if the lowly foot soldier will be purely a foot soldier or will he/she have any type of jump jets a'la Tribes?
Is the only method of getting around with any kind of speed the vehicles or can a light foot soldier make some decent speed. Most of the videos I have seen involve cars and you don't see much of the soldier walking around.

I don't think there will be jets, but veicals are free, if you can drive them, riding is free to my knowlage. and you can always port up to the platform and take a drop-pod down.

Well foot soldiers don't walk everywhere they go either. They are transported to the battle zone and let loose. I loved the jumpjet idea in Tribes, but I would honestly like to see that either left out completely or I'd like to see it as a "vehicle" that you need to be certified on. You know, like a jet pack or something. Make it a scouting vehicle...

No jet packs at all. The closest thing is the Vanu MAX (or Heavy if your a Tribes player) that has very limited jets that can let it leap over small walls and such.

Other then that you can run, but from what I understand it will be like RTCW, and you'll have Stamina that depletes so you can't run all day long.

The only way you will be walking all the way to battle is if you forget to bind a spawn, have no friends, or have no vehicle cert
