Morto, didn't you say once that you only played PS for the first year or so?

if thats the case then you don't have a friggin clue what ppl are going to be wanting to do.

ppl will be cranking out gameplay vids and posting them on "gasp" Youtube,where ppl are going to be actually looking for them,Ht used to have all sorts of clips up but after all the years of ppl upgrading PCs and switching forum set up resulted in a lot of those clips disappearing.

You go right ahead,but I'll bet you $50 right now that this idea is dead 3 months after release.

Firstly sorry for the over the top reply. And yes it was a little over the top lol.

Right I'm sure all you top outfits have your plans, I'm cool with that. If you don't want to take part that's fine. ill just leave my time for the folk who want to take part, and that number is growing daily and its also starting to include some of the SOE team. So like I say, don't take part that's fine with me, but if you ever change your mind you know where I am

Oh and about the time I put in, in the game - well it was more the amount of time not the length of time.

yea, ill be doing the same...and i dont want anybody have the vaguest idea of that base or continent im on...not to mention streaming takes up more bandwidth.

Perhaps they were just simply telling you they wont be taking part, but I'm explaining to you why. You are enthusiastic about your idea, but keep it realistic.

One more thing I forgot to point out. Even if you don't take part in the Empire/Outfit wars, there is still no reason not to contribute to 247, we can promote your Outfit, show the videos on stream, give out URL's to your site etc. The idea in this thread is only 1 of the many we have for 247.

What kind of support will you have for outfits that might not wish to stream themselves, but still want to participate? Personally, I'm kind of sensitive to other people (namely, EVERYONE, if this is being streamed) seeing into our ops, hearing our comms, and sort of being with us even though they aren't, you know? Our outfit members have those privileges, and some very special outfit friends - not everyone under the moon. If you're not a member of our outfit, you don't get the perks, and I think a lot of other outfit leaders have mirrored that sentiment here.

However, I very much want GOTR to be able to participate, somehow. We'll gladly give you access to our "SFRs" or "Sunday Fun Raids" which have been featured in other Planetside Players' videos such as BunnyBread's Vertigo series. There is nothing more entertaining than 60 Lightnings vaulting over a hill towards certain destruction, and we'd be glad to give you or one of the other 247 casters full, unfettered access to comms and the raid itself - because that's the point, it's FUN, it's just meant to be hilarious. Like Rick James night, for instance (search for it on Youtube).

However, the rest of the time, GOTR stuff is GOTR stuff, period. What else can we do to participate?
