What would be really good is if you could open the doors of the Galaxy and then jump out, ala Halo. So you could shoot people as you flew past. Also, to board, you could get in the back (doors open obviously) and actually take a seat for the ride, or stand if you preffered. Sort of like the start in HalfLife: Opposing Forces. Look around the inside of the galaxy. be a whole lot more immersive IMHO.

The galaxy is completley closed and when you're a passenger you cannot fire out or inside the ship. I think that the pilot has the option of ejecting all passengers/vehicles from the ship at any time, while the passengers can also eject anytime. Won't know for sure until the game comes out.

Well that scenario would suck.

"So, Sgt. Adams, my personal opinion on the new Prop 1330 is to vote 'no.' After all, an additional 200 scout towers per continent would give me the heeby jee...eeeeeeezus! The cargo bay is open, and I haven't even put my pants on!!!!

Granted, soldiers chatting in a Galaxy without their pants on is even more disturbing... hmmmm.... Bad example.

Man, what I didn't realize is how big those galaxys are!

My only concern is that, being so enourmous, they will be a huge target. If I have a soldier between my crosshairs and I see that thing come crawling across the top of my screen, I am putting away the chain gun and pulling out the rocket launcher. I may die but I just took down a whole squad with a couple of rockets
