My pleasure, HeadCrab! And personally, I'm hoping that the Boomer is Engineer-only and has some benefits that make it superior to C4. Perhaps it's harder to destroy with gunfire or errant explosions. Perhaps it has a heavier blast-load. I'm very excited!

Little known fact - Planetside 2 is now a blend of FPS and football platformer... This is why they already have a Boomer.

my guess ia, that boomers are the free engineer thing that works like old boomers did.

and c4 can be bought for ressources for any classes grenade slot.

don´t know if only c4 will be placable on vehicles and maxes; restricting the free boomers to conventional ps1 style use.

My guess is the Boomer is actually a pilot class that is a secret double agent. The upside is that you can be a number of Boomers at the same time, but the downside is that you can get pregnant or lose control of your character and go all Manchurian Candidate.

as long as we get the big outfit motherships and the hangars are filled with nude boomers, i don´t see a problem

C-4 is purchaced by any class and is put in a grenade slot
Boomer is construced from the ACE thingy by a engineer..?..maybe have same effects but the engineer will be able to spam more of them?
