*sob!* the ruined the Deliverer

The Deliverer used to be my favorite vehicle. It was the one vehicle cert I was never willing to part with - until now.

The new tweaks they did to it have just ruined it. It used to have excellent climbing ability and decent accelleration - now, if you get stopped or slowed in a fight, you are DEAD.

I used to love just hot dogging around while my gunners blasted away - I am a pretty good driver and we always got a lot of kills, but not, it seems like they eliminated first and second gear and you have to start out in 3rd - its unbelieveable slow and just ruins the Deliverers ability to mix it up in a large fray.

Yeah, they did that with ALL vehicles, not just the deliv. But the MG's are better now arent they? I think i actually liked the lightning faster...its slow now because of it armor boost.

I am going to redo my whole approach to the game - I hardly ever had reinforced becuase I used the Del so much - now, I am thinking I may go back to the reinorced and just use the buggys or ATVs when I need wheels.

This just killed about 30% of the fun that I was finding in the game.

JUst don't mow anymore. As long as you focuse on your driving and let your gunners do the killing you will own. My outfit has several deliverer drivers, including myself, and we can keep them alive for a long time. Racking up numerous kills.

The speed boost when crossing water is a huge improvement. Plus, with the shield charged the deliverer is almost unstoppable.

It amazes me how many people do not know the deliverer can go through water.

I dont really mind the accel/handling nerfs, since it got 3 buffs.
1)armor is higher
2)20mm gun buff
3)water speed increased (45 kph now)


forgot to mention one thing: with the improved water speed,guns and armor, a fully manned deliverer is one of the few good counters to magriders who sit on the water and snipe

I diddn't know it could go though water till a Month after I got the Game ofcouse then I was Hiding in my Reaver 2/3rd's of the time hiding from Striker whore's. Me and my outfit call the Deliverer the Diddy-Mobile Cuz I love the Damn thing so much. I don't drive it, I gun for it ;-) I take down Magrdier's in it for Cry'n out loud

I love the deliverer....better ground insertion b/c it doesnt say "shoot me" as much as a sundy. But if you're at a bridge battle and you try to go through the water, faggetaboutit.

LMAO! I love how the deliverer floats, it's one of the reasons I love the deliverer so much more than the Sunderer.
