Some embarrassing comments from TB aside, it was a better show than last time. Their current show host Axel seems a nice guy but really needs to get up to speed with this game and get some more outfit time on his hand. This will help the show a lot in explaining all the chaotic action which is already hard to make sense of to the average e-sport viewer with the current limited camera options.
Not sure which characters Axeltoss plays but I hope it's not only this one
Maybe some outfits from different factions can temporarily invite him and crash course him into the nitty gritty of team play, tactics and game flow.

I kinda liked their set-up this time of two outfits fighting over a single base, although it would probably would have been better for that base to be on the side of the map to make it more of a 2-way fight. Of course faction outfits will likely coordinate with each other on most servers, making it almost impossible to watch as a fair game of e-sports.

That wasn't a live feed on Sunday by the way. Notice the influence system is still in and 2/2 cap points. Iv been told on the streams chat that video was made Wednesday or close to then and just shown as "live" on Sunday on Twitch. There was even people that seen themselves playing while watching.

Why is MLG having LIVE gameplay steams if it is nothing more than an old video from days before? Hell they didn't even talk about GU7 as far as I know and that CHANGED a lot of their talk about cap point control and how to take a base.

I noticed the pre-patch game play as well, not sure why they couldn't make it live for Sunday. Maybe TB was unavailable.

Skimmed through it and didn't catch the top 5 plays thing that we were submitting videos for. Did that not make it into this episode? Was curious what they considered "plays" in the PS2 sense -- even though I threw some submissions in the hat anyway for the lols.

Available or not it was still an old recording shown as live well after a major game changing patch without a word saying that it was old footage.

TB has standards and I watch damn near everything on his channel. Showing old footage as a live steam is something he should not be apart of, it is flat out dishonest and TB tries his best to not be that kind of person. If MLG can get something like this and show it as LIVE then what else have they done?

Am I missing something here that states that this is an old recording and not live feed from Sunday? I'll admit that I only watched the last 30+ minutes of the show and haven't bothered to see the opening yet.

I asked him on twitter and according to him no one claimed Sundays show was live. (did not think Id get a reply)

The MLG tweet said live

And the screen at Twitch said live (even if it is steaming an old video it seems). It seems MLG is streaming another old video from before GU7 now as I type this on their home page! It's showing a lone wolf ghost capping Blackshard Platinum Mine as live gameplay but it has the 6-6 cap points and the old influence system. What the hell?

I can understand not being able to stream 24/7 but at least say it is old footage and not LIVE. How often does MLG show old footage as live gameplay and not say so? They did Sunday and are doing it NOW. Something from a few days before is a maybe in my book, but not DAYS after an update like GU7 that changes entire vital gameplay mechanics.

While watching that, I got rather frustrated with the lack of effective strategies utilized by both outfits. I'm on a team so I wont emphasize, but there are several things both sides could have done different to end that in the first 10 minutes.

The TR actually did the best in my opinion. The entire time they were TR farming the shit out of both sides.
