Planetside 2 beta lag

Hi i've just started playing the planetside 2 beta and i seem to lag only when im near the hotspots and where there is lots of action and people around it is literally unplayable i checked my internet speed yesterday and it was 16mbps so i dont know why i keep lagging is there a soloution or is it just me?

Please help and reply as soon as possible it is ruining my experience!!

Hi!

step 1 Turn graphics down all the way(especially effects like bombings/exhaust trails)

step 2 Exit client

step 3 Start client and see if it lags

There you go ,hope that helps (could be server side lag aswell)
