Hey! New member to the forums here and curious gamer that is really excited for Planetside 2
First got word of Planetside when TotalBiscuit did his WTFstuff on youtube, and to be honest, this is the kind of game I've been hoping to see for years. I'm not new to Forums or gaming by any stretch, been beta testing and talking on forums of other games since... Aion I think, with a few other major titles in between.
So far I'm going 0/50/50 for my choice of faction. It's either the New Conglomerate or Vanu. No Terran Republic for me, got a thing against people who fight for a tyrannical cause just cuz they look cool. Wanna go NC cuz the Max unit looks like a Gundam and I like the "grit" of their weapons and armor, but am tired of blindly choosing the "freedom fighters." I also wanna go Vanu because... Well to be honest, I'm not sure, but in every vid I have seen, I'm happy to see Vanu take a base, I love seeing Vanu be a force to be reckoned with, even after all my conflicting emotions about how they are looking more "alien" then human. Must be because they're the least liked or something. But still, the NC MAX unit is a beast, I love how it's like you can see the inner workings of it, Vanu's looks like an alien.
Anyway, hope to have fun on the forums
