I recently downloaded the beta from fileplanet... it says it sent me a beta key with the download.. where do i locate it?

I didn't use fileplanet, but it probably emailed it to you. Check the email address that you signed up with and check your junk mail to see if it got filtered out.

When you're installing it the key is given to you in both a web browser pop-up and via your Gamespy ID email addres.
