Getting New RAM?

I did too! So I bought a nice stick of Corsair XMS 512 PC3200 from Newegg, installed it and ran.

Then my computer started to turn off and on on its own.

I went to http://www.memtest86.com/ and downloaded their memory testing software, and verified the baddness was coming from the Memory. (I had installed a new video card, too.)

The moral is, you might want to test your memory before you reinstall Windows
