It is against TOS. That's why he won't reveal name. SOE owns all the intellectual property. Just because we play it, doesn't make it ours.

I suppose I just don't see a market for this? BR, as we know, means very little. Also, this is not an RPG where your uber gear will make a significant difference in how effective your character is. This is an auction for the truly lazy of Planetside 2 or the truly ignorant of Planetside 2.

BR doesn't - but the associated certs = weapons/skill unlocks, surely are worth something to the right person.

* ex. I've spent 40+ days to get to BR100 with a ton of the above stuff... but for a friend of mine - who is quite a bit more successful and has quite a bit less free time - to drop half a day's pay, or whatever, to get a char that is roughly equal to mine, so he can most enjoy the 6-8 hours per week he gets to play... is perfectly logical to him. He isn't trying to "achieve" something in the game, he's just trying to have a good time playing and not be at a disadvantage.

I honestly don't see what the big deal is? Who cares if someone wants to sell their account other than SOE? Maybe the guy has purchased a bunch of cosmetics with Station Cash and just wants to recoup some of his outlay. There is nothing in this game that you can't get with time and BR means next to nothing. If someone wants to buy it, well good for him. I don't see what the fuss is about.

Of all the VS Connery who were BR70 at the time of the Ebay posting, only FlufflyFluffer has the same weapons. The certs also match up. The only inconsistency is that FluffyFluffer also owns the NS-11P, but this could easily have been an oversight when he listed the weapons.

Interesting character, as nearly 45,000 of his 47.5K kills are knife kills, yet mostly plays Medic.

Hmmm... I think someone has inflated K/D stats. 20+ KDR but on the kill board most recent is ~1 at best. 45K knife kills? I guess he sat with an alt killing it over and over? weird.

One could also figure it's more than coincidence that the Seller account is "goldenorange" while this character account ownership is "silverorange".

I had searched here for goldenorange, but did not catch the ownership. That elevates my certainty to 99.999999%
