The main thing is to play together. Training for specific formations and plans is good and all but on a battlefield of this magnitude ANYTHING could happen so it's better to simply have a very good commander/strategist and a team that plays well together in any situation.

Mmm... I'd be thinking that when everyone on this forum first plays the game, the whole planet will be filled with newbies, so we'll all be equally crap. But anyway, I'd be thinking that earlier squads and players would be taking out easier tasks, and better squads and players would be taking harder tasks. I guess that goes without saying, though.
