The majority of people will get them on Thursday I'm guessing, since that's when the major patch/character whipe is scheduled.

BWUAHAHAHA! I just found out that us contest winners (from MMORPG.com anyways) might recieve a download link for the beta! If it's true, then no waiting for a beta CD for me!!!

I doubt it, I believe they were open beta slots, not exclusive. They may compensate to offset the time delay however.

In any event, by the time you d/l the game, you'll have one day to play before the huge character wipe and patch which you will have to download.

I've also heard the servers are down as of today until 5p.m. CST.

The guys in California will recieve the beta and have it online before you finish downloading, patching.

The way things go with SOE, it may take a month for you to get your CD key once you DL the game.

There are some people in exclusive whom have not gotten their emails yet.

I've given up being optimistic when SOE is concerned.
