I think you should name your computer "LOLFANS"
Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

LOLFANS. I'll keep that in mind the next time I do a fresh copy of Win7 I'll put that as the computer name or when I set-up a network. Makes it easy to identify.
Question about the video card. It has a big cover on it. Should I remove it or just leave it? I ask because I suddenly have an urge to remove it lol, but is it wise? From the looks of the design, it blows air on top of the heatsink rather than moving it outside of the case. Will the cover help or make it worse? |

Given that you've pretty much given up any hope of having smooth, laminar-ish flow of air through your case, allowing the GPU fan to roam free probably won't make much of a difference. However, if you do remove the shroud, you might void the warranty on the thing.
Also, you could probably remove that second zip-tied CPU fan, the bottom fan, the backside fan, and the expansion car fan and experience no change in cooling ability while making the thing a fuckton quieter. Unless you like the sound of your PC getting ready for takeoff every time you fire up PlanetSide.

Hmmmm I did remove the 2nd CPU fan and the expansion slot fan. You didn't mention anything about my strip fan, but still, I removed it anyways. I did however put in a switch to turn off/on the two top fans, or maybe I should have spliced it into the back fan instead?
