Which empire do you hate?

To go along with the most recent What Empire Will You Play As? poll, I thought it would be fun to see the other side of things.

The 3 empire nature of Planetside ensures that there will always be more enemies than friendlies, but I have always gotten the distinct impression that a lot of players, myself included, tend to single out one of the two enemy empires as their greatest foe.

Whether you hate their new look in PS2 the most, or just ended up fighting them the most often in Planetside 1, or whatever the reason, what is your least favorite empire?

And of course feel free to post an elaboration of why you hate them.

For me, NC all the way. I think it stems from them typically having a population advantage a majority of the time that I played. That alone made them the defacto enemy in a lot of battles, compounded by the fact that they would often ruin a good fight we were having with the TR. Playing all 3 factions occasionally, I'd have to say I fit in the least with them as well.

NC are just a great villain to hate, no matter what the lore tells us about the TR. TR are the past, VS are the future, NC are a bunch of hooligans with guns, who would happily shoot each other if someone hadn't accidentally given them matching IFF chips

Based Solely off my planetside 1 experience it is very hard to say but I'd probably have to put the NC ahead of the TR if I really had to choose.

Playing VS for 7 years I pretty much feel the same about everything that isnt purple and shiny.

Damn, I should have made Nanite Systems the 3rd option. The poll would have been almost perfectly color coded, aside from NS being yellow instead of greyish tan.

The TR is a brutal dictatorship, unworthy of wielding the power the ambitious cretins grasp at . . . but at least they're honest about it and don't pretend to be anything other than an armed gang of willfully ignorant, psychopathic megalomaniacs.

The NC are no less oppressive, but their rebel-without-a-clue, corporatist doublethink is insulting to everyone but the naive fools who believe the propaganda fed to them by their capitalist robber-baron slavemasters.

Isn't that what this whole thread is about?

Isn't that why people can relate to one of the three empires more than the other two?

I mean, of course politics comes into it with loyal NC and TR players...

VS players just like to look pretty ;p

I have always hated the VS the most. I'm not sure why. Maybe its from the old days of PS and that op lasher. It just rubbed me wrong.

EZ answer: NC.

The douchebag-to-civilized-human ratio has always been way higher on NC than the other two empires. They make it easy to hate them.

I didn't mean it in by way of what they stand for, because on that they're completely equal, your view of each only depending on which one you represent.

I meant that whichever side you're on, the degree of hatred you display might suggest whether you're a right wing psycho or a begrudging soldier, just doing their duty
