You do realize I'm going to say that everytime you say Vanu suck right? I do hope the underside is more vulnerable so mines will have a great use. Also, the engines on the aircraft should be damaged more than other parts.

I was thinking of gas tanks and tires in particular. I don't know if the devs are planning to have that element of realism involved. Obviously a gas tank is pretty damn hard to hit (unlike in the movies) but tires are pretty simple to blow out. However, adding the ability to blow out tires on vehicles would mean adding control issues on the vehicles with flat tires and that may be a little more than they really want to deal with. Who knows, it's all speculation anyway.

There will be no gastanks, vehicles are powered by some kind of force that involves the warp gates. ie when you fly too far off the coast u lose power
