Trial system for guns and attachments

(Please note that this is already implemented! Well, something like this. But please ignore my ignorance.)

Hi guys,
just typed up a previous thread but I had to login in again when I previewed it which meant I lost all my work so I'll hand it to you reasonably plain and simple as I really can't be bothered with the hassle of typing it up again.

The idea is a trial system that gives you a maximum number of trial points every two weeks or so. These trial points can be spent on weapons and such to test for an hour or two. When a trial point purchased weapon is equipped, the player will receive no experience, Certs or kills. The trial points value on each item can vary with each item (e.g. Guns cost more than attachments) or they can be all the same throughout. The issue with varied trial point values is that there may be some trial points that can't be spent but the issue with having the same values is that trying a gun with all attachments will be very expensive. What happens after the trial timer is up can be determined by either letting the player use it until they respawn or resupply, or by completely disabling the item regardless of the player's situation. The issue with letting the player keep the weapon until death or resupply is that if the player is good, they may be using gun still long after they should be. But the issue with disabling the gun abruptly is that it may annoy players if they are being gunned down and they have no primary weapon.

What this does for players is allow them to try before the buy properly and allow them to practice before they purchase. The issue with that is players may use the system to annoy other players but that really can't be helped. What it does for VR training is make it almost redundant but a way to solve that is to make certain items like cosmetics not included in the trial system. So no flare guns, no camouflages and none of those special weapon variants such as the black or yellow Underboss.

If you have any suggestions on how to improve the idea then feel free to mention them and apologies guys if you were expecting a bit more, I did cover a bit more on the thread I was going to post but that didn't go to plan.
