Warning to buyers of PS!

Make sure the clerk and you check the CDs BEFORE leaving the store. Not sure if every store is aware of this so i'm warning you guys but i picked up my copy at EB today and the guy said he wanted to check my CDs first because Sony sent them an e-mail that some CDs got damaged during transpo, usually the 3rd one.

Well he checked and sure enough the 3rd CD was scracthed, the 2nd set he took out also had a damaged 3rd CD. So make sure you check those CDs before leaving the store guys.

Those paper things are jewel cases?

I never bothered to check my CD's out because I didn't uninstall my Beta. I just got the CD key and installed it that way. I will when I get home though. Hate to have to reformat and have the thing all screwed up.

Yeah, you'd think that with all the cash they will make they could make a better case. The way things are going this will definitly be my last SOE buy.

Cheapest case ever + ban people from game because of something posted on forum + somewhat expensive fee + possible(have yet to play release version so i can't comment) buggy game = yes last buy from said company

Yeah but there's being a good nazi and being a bad nazi, banning from game without a warning just isn't right in my book, if it were only a ban from the forums or if they PMed a warning sure no problem, but from the whole game with no warning.

This is why I go to fan sites befor I decide if I am gunna buy the game and browze forums for compants becuz the offical forums will not let them fly and delete them afraid of the fact that someone who is interested in buying a game might read it and change there minds. We have seen the true face of planetside I am not saying I like the company behind it but I have the luxury of having to w8 2 mouths befor I get my computer upgrades I will be watching closely how the game progesses and how good customer Service they provide weather this game is worth buying or not.

Don't member Nav, all i know is i've heard of quite a few people being banned from the game for something they said on forums. Now granted i'm sure some of those were idiots and/or jerks but when you post a question about XP and get banned with no warning that IMO is just being a nazi mod.

And i know it's sony's rules, never said anything else, just saying that i think they are too strict and it's just 1 of many reasons why i'm gonna try to stay away from futur games by them.
