hey i heard LCD monitors lower fps in games is that true if so how much... ? Would it be worth getting one ?

LCD's cause alot of ghosting while gaming. I would only have an LCD if I was using it for something other than gaming. Don't know about them lowering FPS.

I'm not an expert with LCD moniters, but I do understand the concept of ghosting. With LCD moniters making a huge showing in online sales... CRT moniters are going down in price dramatically. It wasn't too long ago that a 21 inch Sony Trinitron moniter was over a thousand dollars! Now you can get the E540 Black 21 inch trinitron for less than 500! My advice is for you to take advantage of the super low costs of some great CRT's. I bought that very Sony moniter and am very pleased with it.
