GeForce GTX 670


Looking a pricing a rig for PS2, looking at the GeForce GTX 670 or the Geforce GTX 580, been looking at overclockers uk but there so many diffience types of GeForce GTX 670s whats the best one to get?


dont really wanta spead more then 400 pounds on the card

The 670 is certainly preferable to the 580. I suggest getting the Gigabyte OC (3 fans) or the Asus (non-TOP version). They have the quietest coolers out of the brands available and will cool your GPU fine, short of utilizing an immense overclock or living in the sahara.

You can get a GTX680 for £400.

Both give Good factory overclock and nice 3 fan cooler.

Didn't you just post another thread on upgrades? If you try to use a 670 with the 250w power supply you said you had you're not going to have a good time.

Assuming you've got that figured out:
For the 670 I like the gigabyte with the three fan cooler as it's quieter and better than the reference.
Don't spend extra money to get a factory overclocked card, because it has it's own "turbo" thing that automatically boosts clock based on TDP.

ahh yea my old pc just upgrading my ram to 4gb. but getting some money soon from my car crash i had a while back so im pricing up a whole new rig, but many thanks all after looking at reviews the Gigabtye looks to best, next week ill probly would of got a ideal of the whole rig set up and post it
