"We already have a boomer"

Anyone know what T-Ray is referring too? I certainly do not recall any mention of a boomer other then them saying that they were using the name boomer and c4 interchangeably.

Too busy drawing. He's an art man, not part of the gameplay and design side of things so much. While I'm sure he has input it's not his field, nor his concern really.

It's not just T-Ray. Not much is set in stone and there are a lot of ideas floating around, so you may hear a developer say they are going to do one thing and another say another and really they have multiple things on the table. It's not that they are wrong, they're all right. It's just a matter of what makes it through the wash.

Sounds to me like the boomer is a different device from C4. The way I'd envision it, the Infiltrator class has C4 (stick anywhere, tactical explosive) while the engineer has the boomer (something that's basically a demolitions charge, maybe also stick-anywhere, but more powerful).

I would be VERY ok with this. Evidently, anyone can buy C4 (it takes up the grenade slot). Maybe the Boomer is more powerful and only available to the Engineer. I'll ask people on Twitter :-)
