I always suspected a group or two would come prior to the 'priority' group, so no surprise for me. The way I see it, the game will be even better by the time I get in. Brand new betas can be very tiresome anyway. Constant server restarts, patches, etc. Just be patient, everyone's time will come.

Its the calm before the storm. People still have hope that they might get invites, so they'll refrain from exploding just yet. But once the trickle of information shows that it actually started and they appear to be done with the FP invites, that's when we'll really see how well the community takes it.

At E3 Josh said they allow people to trickle in (to beta) pretty soon.... this sounds like a trickle.

They have not yet started beta. Just in case you missed it a few pages ago, some people, have been given access to the PS2 forums, community leaders primarily, to discuss PS2 with more specific questions tailored to those groups of players.

Aye. I dont mind them getting in, but its those people who think because they've been waiting since 2003, they're entitled to get in instantly. They are, don't get me wrong, but they need an elite playerbase. Its just...some people...they're, yeah.

I said it five pages ago, I'll say it again now. I really don't think beta has started yet. If it had the PS2 forums would have A LOT more posts on, I guarantee it. Everyone should take a breath, the sky is not falling.

Yes, I know this. I'm pointing out that people still have hope that they may yet be invited to that group, so we haven't seen the worst of the community reaction yet until it is clear that they are not and will not be.

Ragefactor (here at least) is the supposed NDA, not allowing to spread infromation about beta start.

Yet again a small invisible text here gives you a hint - PSU accounts are not bound to SOE accounts, so anonymity is at its best here, go figure what I mean...
