Whats the deal?

I have a 3-letter alias that I use on every game I play. (i.e. Aen)

When I first got PS it would let me create my name no problem. Now, I tried creating another character on Konried and it wouldn't let me use it.

It didn't say that my character name was taken, it just said my name was invalid or couldn't be used. Something along those lines.

Just wanted to ask if anyone knew/knows what happened, or could explain this to me.

thats becasue you've taken your character name.
One name locks it out on all servers

Is that new? I have the same name on 3 servers.

Yeah, one name doesn't lock it on other servers

This happened to an outfit member of mine the other day. We created new chars on another server, and he couldn't use his name. Same error you got. He tried 3 different names of chars he had on another server, but got the same error. I think this must be a bug, because you used to be able to do this.

I also have the same name on three servers, but they are different empires, dunno if that makes a dif.

I dont see why that would have to make a difference.

The most logical answer so far would probably have to be that its a bug.

Yeah I have 3 characters named Jagd. TR on Markov, VS on Konreid and NC on Emerald. Must be a bug.
