I'm sorry but it sucks....
In my point of view... I preferred House of the 1000 corpses... but maybe thats just me... I'm not talking about scaryness factor... since well no movie ever really scared me... made me jump ok... but no scare... I usually end up laughing these movies! Only movie that ever scared me was gremlins but I was a wee lad back then!

ok dude, im no big fan or guru of horror movies but house of 1000 corpses was fucking retarded
i wanna see TCM just to get the gist of the story, since it is based ona true story and ive heard a few things and it sounds more fucked up (interesting) than that lame ass house of 1000 corpses

House of 1000 Corpses on DVD is just fucked up. The intro with the clown has nothing to do with the rest of the movie. And the DVD menu has like a 5 min clip of the clown, mostly insulting you and eating a burrito.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

My one big problem with the horror movie genre is that they focus entirely on trying to startle you, not scare you. Instead of focusing on creepy or disturbing visuals, they just have someone jump out of nowhere and play high pitch music while they do it. This Comic about Dino Crisis pretty much sums up what I think of most horror movies...

I haven't seen Texas Chainsaw Massacre yet due to work schedule.
I love horror movies. They are my absolute favorite. Pisses my friends off. House of 1000 Corpses was pretty good. I don't understand what all the hype was about though.
