What an awesome afternoon on Forseral yesterday! The Vanu broke in from the caverns at Caer, and slowly spread north and west up to Lugh and Ogma. Meanwhile, the NC showed up at Pwyll and hacked the triangle to Bel and Neit before coming in force to Lugh. All 3 empires went back and forth capping the central bases of Caer, Ogma and Neit for over two hours until the TR Massive arrived and pushed the Vanu back to Dagda and cornered the NC at Lugh.
The fight for Dagda dragged on for at least two hours with a mostly TR invasion force attacking from the south, and some scattered NC raiders hoping to divide and conquer from the tower to the north. I've never had so much fun fending off a zerg, as the Vanu holed up in the main foyer and on the catwalk, killing wave after wave of intruders with TR MAXes permanently anchored outside the front and rooftop doors. There were several TR rushes that made it past us and down the stairs, but somehow we managed to keep the generator and control rooms secured. All in all, a spectacular battle. I racked up 100 kills and got from BR11 to BR12 in just one session. Good times indeed!
