That giant blue holo sight on the VS gun was incredibly distracting. As were the headlights on the Mag.. put the lights in front of the tank, I don't need the tank itself lit up.

The MAX, while awesome to see, also had severe muzzle flash issues. I couldn't even see what he was aiming at.

And the mosquito cockpit can be described in one word.. RED! Stuff like that is exactly why I hate cockpits, especially in sci fi, because its continually proven that nobody ever makes them functional and rational. They've always got to go out of their way to prove how futuristic they are.

Seriously.. please tone down the colors a bit. Its too much, too distracting. Might be fine during the day, but the extreme contrast at night is very painful to look at.

And one final note.. Am I the only one who thinks the guns are way too big?

Other than those things, it looks seriously awesome gameplay wise.
I agree there's practicality issues here or there. The speedometer was hard to read in the mossie and the MAX is obviously not finished yet.

Other than that, I think the contrast is good. Maybe the holo-site could be slightly dimmer/more transparent, but it almost sounds like you don't want a lightshow at night...Which is objectively insane. :P

WHOLY SHIT. GAME LOOKS RIDICULOUS.

TB is like the Bear Giles of Planetside 2.

"I've just killed the CEO of Sony Online Entertainment"

"Gah, I hate the Vanu"

"I've just crafted a wet suit out of a baby seal skin"

Thank You, TB, for posting this video! I am so stoked to play this game. I love Planetside and have never loved any game as much as I do Planetside. Inevitably, whenever I catch a PS video, I always come back to play.

I can't wait to see more and I certainly can't wait to play! See you all on the battlefield soon! Loyalty Until Death.

All the sounds will eventually be changed as well as many other things this is only alpha. As far as the rapid fire that made the whole screen shake while TB was indoors seem to be like that of a max-pounder.

Now, I know it was like this during Planetside 1, but since we're updating and everything, in the killfeed, I would rather see it say Killer|Cycler|Victim, instead of Killer|weapon graphic|Victim. Or at least let people choose which way to see it on their screen.

the game looks great and all BUT in bf3 numbers, like 64-100 people playing at the same time(just for A base) . So i really wonder how this turns out with 2k people in the server, since the JUMP PADS are added it will be quite a mess

Even with 2k players on an island, the fight seems to be less centered on one point with their new hex grid system. I could see those players spread out across the whole front line and not just fighting over one base at a time like the original linear base capture progression that was in PS1.

I just hope there are choke points like bridges or canyons to create those awesome stalemate battles that lasted for hours like on Hossin or Amerish.

Hopefully with how many more people know about this Planetside than the amount that knew about the original there will be huge fights EVERYWHERE because there will be so many more people playing.

Also this video... FIUELZGHRUIEZHJRIUEAZLHJTRUISLHJTIROSHJITROS;HTRJE S

NOW. PLEASE.

Another thing...tanks have headlights as this video reveals. Is that what vehicles are getting instead of infrared or night vision?
