The Cycler ARV

Cycler ARV (Automatic Rifle Variant) - The high modularity of the Cycler weapon system allows Heavy Assault solders to field the battlefield with variants outfitted with heavy 20' barrels and 100 round drum magazines. The slight loss in accuracy is more than made up for in sustained fire and makes any Heavy Assault soldier deadly at close range. - [Virrago]

I keep seeing the words "at close range" on TR guns. Is that just a TR thing?

both these guns (Cycler ARV and MCG) we have seen are for the heavy assault, the close range "tank" sorta class.

The gun looks a bit strange .. but it might be the angle. In my opinion it might look better if it wasn't as long (and instead a bit bulkier on the sides?).

PS.: That drum magazine never holds 100 rounds.

Edit: I had to do it ... might be a bit too short now, but I'm getting my point across I think. (Not that it will make any difference)

Edit 2: Thinking about it again it might look better if the barrel at the front was shorter and the rest would stay the same.

I think this is the LMG variant of the Cycler, with that long barrel and drum mod. If you cut it off mentally just after the forward ironsight you get a more normal assault rifle shape.

The Devs said that we will have a choice of HA.

This is probably the longer range HA as opposed to the MCG.

Maybe it's like the HSR? That's what I thought when looking at it.

That's another variant of the Cycler, we've also seen one with basically no barrel at all
