So let’s have a little bit of fun shall we?
Over the last few months, I have been nerding out to my girl who is a gamer in a sense that she has tried about every new MMORPG out there since 2004. She has given a chance to EVE Online, Rift, Vangaurd, SWTOR, EQ2, and a few others. For the sanity of this I have gotten her to try CS:S (she did ok) and CoD: MW2 (She did horrible).
Well... in our talks I have left her so many pages of words via msn about PS2, (we live 18 hours apart atm) that my English professor would be PROUD. I really put the hurt on her in explaining just how passionate I am about this game, and how much as a gamer the original has meant. So, tonight I really laid it on her. I talked about all the new videos, information and interviews since E3. Specifically I pointed out many things about the interview with Smed, and how much I love what he has planned as well as how I would probably do horribly gay things with Higs and his Higs hair.
Well... She wants to try Vanu if she even TRIES PS2. I am through and through NC. So I tell her... For you, I will, somehow, manage to teach you the Planetside ways in the Vanu colors (Purple and green are her favorite colors HA). She goes "YESSS" and I explain to her JUST how very very deep the blood goes with this. I tell her "It’s like... playing the Horde for six years and only the horde... and one day someone you love convinces you to switch to the Alliance. It’s about a thousand times the controversy in your mind as a Planetside player. You’re likely to log in, see purple around you, and say "SHREW THIS NOISE VANU = THE SUX I'm OUT!" lol... Yes?
So, this is about one thing.
Love, would you switch factions for someone you love? Betray those brothers and those loyalties you have made for the many years past well before meeting this magnificent woman?
I really do wish I had the balls to link all of you the 30 minutes’ worth of writing I just did to her about it and her replies lol.
She is who I plan to spend forever with so just so you guys can see what I am working with, worth switching to PEW PEW of purple and green?
