Note the phrase "Now in beta".

PlanetSide 2 is NOT in External beta yet. The article above is also false and misinformed.

Unfortunately they are mistaken. No one is playing outside the company at this time.

Either they are outright lying because Total Biscuit did play it and he is outside the company, thus making us all wonder what else they are lying about, who else has played it? Looking at my graph* it's clear to everyone that the explosions of interest in the game had to originate away from the base of the company, and yet we are told to believe that nobody else has had access to it? Ask questions people! Don't believe everything you hear, the truth is out there!

Or, Total biscuit is now part of SoE. However I am going with theory one.

Actually, since I'm a freak I have checked this frequently over time. In the last few weeks, it has said "forums are under maintenance," like when they normally take the forums down. If you enter some other random thing like "eq3," it gives you the plain text error

.getRequestDispatcher("default/index.ftl").forward(, )

However, like I said you got the standard maintenance error for PS2. I even checked this yesterday. I wake up this morning early, and find the PS2 forums in all their glory.

Also, there's a couple key join dates on here:

Hamma (Under Planetside 2 NDA) on 06/04/2012
