Stealth suits

What are they good for? I see a few uses like guarding a hacked terminal and giving anyone who comes to re-hack it a good knifeing, but how many other uses have other people found for it?

Please post any useful, fun or crasy/stupid things you could do in a stealth suit.

Anybody that likes to do helpful stuff like hacking and medical but not be seen and shot at uses stealth. Knifing on the battlefield is also lots of fun. Mostly hackers, though.

I killed a crapload of enemies by surging up behind them and nailing em at point-blank in the back with my AMP.

Surge and crouch, Surge and crouch...that's the key. You should try it, it's fun as hell

i use infil to scout bases, look for AMSes so SL can OS it, and to take out snipers. i crouch a lot, so i go right up behind a peep like point blank and unload on them and kill them. being an infil is a lot of fun IMO.

Follow the trail of enemies back to the AMS, sneak in, and hack'n'jack it. Bonus points if you run over the newly spawned enemies.

Sneak up to the vehicle console at base that was just taken over by the enemy and set up a boomer. Watch little bad guy bits fly all over when you detonate.

Wait by the entrance of an enemy base which was heavy mined by them. When a vehicle drives by, toss a jammer grenade and blow up the vehicle while clearing a path into the base.

Get AI Max cert, sneak into a base and hack a equipment console. Switch to the MAX and run rampant through the base.

Some of the really good squad/unit leaders use it. They can then easily set up somewhere with a good view of the battle and not have to worry about getting shot while they issue orders, set waypoints or call in orbital strikes.

Could not have set 5 Boomers and then used a Jammer not enough room. Maybe 4 then a Jammer.

I wonder how many Boomers it would take to take out a AMS. . .

I'd guess half a dozen or so. Twelve will take out a generator.

I agree with the scouting thing.

I don't have hacking or Engineering, so I look for things. I also try to find ways to mess with snipers, without killing them.

Following them while turning Adv. Targetting on and off is fun. They can hear the sound and get all freaked out.

Or have the enemy clear a mine field for you. You can sneak very close to mines while crouched. Place a couple of mines inside an enemy mine field and either have the enemy set off the mines clearing the mine field or throwing jammers clearing the mine field. In any case it's win win . Another fun thing is in a base that just fell place mines at choke points like in Tech Plants a trail of mines leading from the vehicle terminal equals auto death. Another good use is as a pilot. You're for more likely to survive having to bail out without being hunted down in an infiltration suit (barring your enemy isn't a Mosquito) then in any other armor type.

Never gank the vehicle that's being reloaded or repaired. 9 times out of 10, the driver is also the engineer.

Gank the driver.

Always gank the driver. Then the vehicle sits there, all forlorn and stuff.
