Played Quake:Team Fortress for 3 years (not that TFC crap).
Played Everquest for 2 years (the first two).
Played Counter-strike for 2 years.
Played DAOC since release (50 scout, 50 zerk, 50 sb, if anyone cares).

I only played Tribes a little bit, and never tried T2.

I'm very interested in Planetside because it seems like the perfect mix of the FPS/MMORPG worlds that I love.

Haven't chosen a faction or outfit yet, still just window-shopping for the time being.

Heheheheh, we all know that 5150 left cause they wanted to hold thier undefeated record. It was only a matter of time before vanguard beat them. I still find it suspicious that they left the TWL immediatly after a very close win with vanguard And you left before we got a chance to play you dammit!

That said, there wasn't any team that played like 5150. You guys had a certain magic, instinctiveness about your playingstyle. Vanguard were, imo, a better team - but they didn't have the flare you guys had. Vanguard played a perfect, but boring game where they didn't take any chances. You guys always went for the gamble, and got it

I hope you do all come to PS, cause I would love to get a chance to finally play against the team I looked up to

5150 and Vanguard have always been experts when it came to Base, but Inq, FL, IO, Immo and a few others dominated to real Shifter matches.

Lots of familier faces in this thread.

I did my time in t2. Played for Rx for a long time. Once classic came out, I didn't have enough time to play comp for a long time, so I just pubbed a lot. Now I just play tr2. Less of that these days too.

Planetside looks like it's shaping up to be quite a good time, I'll definitely be there.

I've had t2 since its relase, and play it as the "game when I am bored."

I have been playing CS avidly for a good 3 years now, and have recently retired from ac2.

My T2 skills aren't great... but hoepfully my skill in CS will come through.

Sure, you can call me a PS/t2 player.

Edit: I play exclusively on the Aether renegades CTF, mostly as a flag runnin engineer.

Just to show how much of a geek I am, team 5150 isn't originally a T2 team. They started out as a T1 team and dominated the TWL and OGL CTF ladders for at least a good year. Their main rivals were iE, otherwise known as Imperial Elite. Then, when T2 started gearing up and a lot of players were moving from T1 to T2, they moved along with iE and a few other top 10 clans. From there, they've left T2 and expanded to play BF1942 and SoF2. If any of the 5150 players, let alone all of them, start seriously playing PS, they would be living legends just by rep alone. Although I have to admit, seeing iE and 5150 playing in PS as TR outfits would be pretty sweet.
