So what does it take to get unbanned in this game?

So basically, I had my PS1 account banned around 8 years ago for spamming in the chat channels. That's all fine and dandy, I am sure I deserved it. What irks me though is that 8 years later they still absolutely refuse to appeal it. I can understand permanent bans for hackers and exploiters, but all I did was excessive channel spam. I had a "permanent" ban in WoW for file modifications that stuck for about 4 months before they decided to give everyone involved a break. Yet SoE is giving me a longer punishment than how long you get imprisoned for rape in Canada(KingDaver told me this and I really don't want to know why he knows it either).

I just wanted to see what Planetside looks like these days without having to buy a completely new account, because I'll be damned if I'm going to do that. Hell I'll probably log in once or twice on a 15 dollar subscription and call it there. Anyone know any ways of appealing to someone with a bit more sense than the normal tickets?

#1: Stop being a dusch online

*If you've been such a dusch online in the past that companies still won't let you back then most likely you've burned that bridge permanently. I've seen several folks on here say they had been banned in the past and called support and gotten the ban lifted.

#2: If you are perma-banned, create a new account and stop being a dusch from now on.

Me, ive got a temp ban for cursing on global so you must have done something realy bad with warnings..

Wasn't even cursing, just nonsensical stuff. When me and most of the rest of Ahriman Corps quit to play Lineage 2 we just goofed off in global chat probably too much.

Yeah, I've tried escalating the issue. Just always the same response. I don't really care enough to REALLY push the issue, I'm just still shocked that they adamantly refuse to change a ruling on something like this from so long ago. I was still an obnoxious teenager back then!

I think the SoE person I talked to back then was.. Tom Lockard? God only knows what he even does now.

Personally i wouldn't bother to give you the time of day, permanent is permanent.

Just going to have to deal with it until PS2 comes out and you get a new account.

You're probably thinking of the orbital strike video, but that was long before this and I never received any kind of account action for that, as I did not launch it :P

8 years could, potentially, include a lot of growing up. Obnoxious children sometimes turn out all right.
