Stupid FUCKING WIRELESS SHIT!!!

Feeling technologically inclined, I hopped in my car and drove to CompUSA down the road, I bought a Wireless Optical Desktop Elite set from Micro$hit, and I bring it home.

I unpack it and put the included batteries in their respectable slots, 3 in the keyboard and 2 in the mouse, I plug the receiver up and install the software that came with it.

Now I hit the Connect button on the receiver, all 3 lights on top flash simultaneously, and I think to myself, hrm, its working.

So I bring the keyboard/mouse in range, and neither work, nothing happening, I can't move the mouse or Alt+Tab and type.

So I reboot computer (both connectors on the receiver are PS2), I come to my logon screen and click on my username (the mouse works now), and begin typing whilst looking at something on TV (near my comp.), I hit enter and nothing happens.

I then reboot twice more, all to no avail, is there a hidden power button on the keyboard or something? Anyone who can help me post here, I'll get on MSN Messenger and you can do that connect via support center crap and do it for me.

I'm computer illiterate when it comes to interfacing and hooking up shit, I'm halfway inclined to take the shit back.

Someone help, kthx.

Read the manual, there is a process for syncing multiple wireless devices.

You most likely have to hit the connect button the reciever, then hit the connect button on both your devices, one after the other.
