I played a lot of PS at various points in it's life, both long before the expansion and long after. This idea actually came to me the first time I played PS when I noticed you couldn't "duel" another player the same way you could in other MMOs. There is often a lot of inter-outfit fighting even on the same sides and I really feel some way to legitimately compete against willing members of your own faction (make it a VR simulation or something, like the vehicle training room) would release a lot of pent up stresses and such.

In the army, for example, soldiers are often forced to box or wrestle each other. This is a similar kind of idea, at least in my mind.

on a side note i like the idea of outfit 'arenas' and i hope if and when outfit structures are implemented they will be that elaborate.

can you do what you do with the devs but in reverse for him... make his text the same color as the backround, so he gets the satisfaction of posting, but the rest of the community doesnt have to gouge our eyes out after every time he posts.

^^^ The only problem with that is it won't stop people from highlighting his stuff and reading it. It's just like the ignore function. Sure, you can't see the poster's crap but you can see that they posted something and, humans being curious animals, it just gnaws at you. Like a trainwreck, it's shocking but you just can't.. look.. away...
