How Valuable is Station Cash?

So there's a sweet deal going on today, offering 3x bonus to station cash purchases. I'm seriously considering the $100 dollars for 30k option (normally $300). I haven't seen any catalogs for Planetside 2 items yet, however, or really followed the micro-transaction talk much. Does anyone know how Planetside is specifically going to utilize the station cash, and if 34k in station cash is/isn't overkill?

All we know is that we'll be able to buy weapons. boost and camo for station cash.

We don't know what the pricing will be but Smed did say they're looking to sell a lot for a little rather than not much for a lot.

Maybe if someone provides examples from other games us others could get an idea.

I threw a £20 note at it for 7500 assuming that weapons may cost a few hunded to half a thousand each. Maybee the big stuff 1000.

I also bought some extra in case PS1 has a few station cash options when it goes free and they want to make money from it somehow

Pricing varies by game, TF2 its any were from .99 to 10 dollars for items
It depends on the busy model they use, they could charge 5 dollar a weapon , or 20 no one really knows.

Station cash could be worth a ton or a little. I would expect with 150 dollars you would be able to get quite a bit. I know with tribe 30 dollars usually got you a full class and then some

Sadly we have no idea what the station cash price will be for anything

I've been trying to find that out for some time but it's still very much in flux. I would imagine it will be somehow proportional to cert points.

i hope they are not what is in game atm. checked last night and if you click a camo it says 42000sc. thats like £80 lol

PS2 membership will give 500 SC per month. It wouldn't make sense to give subscribers insufficient funds to actually buy some nice stuff so it is reasonable to assume weapons will cost 500 at most.
Note that prices could very well be lower. And it is quite likely that weapons will be priced differently (eg. a LMG with slightly different stats being cheaper than a heavy weapon)

It would be awesome if they let you replace your helmet with a monocle - and it cost 80k station points.

Sadly the max amount of SC you can have on your account is 50k.
