Ok, so they said there is actual bullet drop for projectile weapons. I love meself some semi-realistic sniping action. It's always been more satisfying to land a successful hit in ARMA if I had to compensate and managed to hit the mark the first time.
However, is there bullet travel time too? Will I be required to lead moving targets with the crosshair at a distance, or is it instant, and only have to take the drop into consideration? If they can keep it client-side and conpensate for the lag, it might be a nice extra for snipers to look out for, but personally won't miss it if it would need too much work to get just right. |

I also noticed, obviously, that there were tracer rounds flying around, but in my experience, it's a somewhat common industry trick to simply show the graphics of the rounds, but the actual damage registers instantly, the shown bullet is just eye-candy, but since it happens so fast at low ranges, that the delay is pretty much nonexistent.
