This. People get nationalistic about their faction in Planetside. That's part of what makes us unique.

One of the few things they got right was to launch with only one empire per server. Then they did away with that, but failed to introduce a cooldown timer for empire swaps, and offered the lamest of bullshit excuses for doing so. It's one thing to admit the 4th Empire exists, and that running multiple clients is certainly possible. It's another to smile and bow and usher it through the FUCKING DOOR.

I have played all three factions in the last 6 months, but now I only have my VS character and I deleted my TR and NC alts. I have not missed out on 2/3 of the game and I am exclusively VS now.

My alts aren't on my main's server. Too much 4th Empire and all that. My alts are on different region servers so whenever I feel like playing I can go to wherever is prime time.

I feel the same, well almost, I love killing NC ^^. Anyway, during PS1 and PS2 I only think I have played another faction than TR once. I have some sort of memory of trying NC for an hour in old PS1 for some reason. I would never ever play vanu though. Still its abit shame since I got alot of other empire stuff from alpha sq and one year anniversery pack. But thats not a good enough reason for high treason, lol!

Sadly, unlike in PS1, I don't see a reason to stay completely loyal until they add in continental locking. I need a proper reason to stay loyal to the TR beyond just "Oh, why not.".

I have alts but all very low level just for testig out new crap they put out I have been vanu for 8 years due a RL mate being vanu AD he introduced me to ps1 and I liked it and have stuck with both my empir and outfit from then

I have one character per faction, all on Connery, and zero faction loyalty.

But I do have my "preferred" characters, in the order of TR->NC->Vanu.
