I am Gryphon on TA. So far it is actually pretty good. It needs a few tweeks, but I am impressed with how authentic it feels.

Been playing the beta a bit myself lately and I must say I am greatly impressed.

Like Hamma tribes was a very special game for me and ever since tribes 2 came out (first game I ever preordered) I have had a bad taste in my mouth for the franchise. Nothing has been able to come close to that tribes experience since the original until now.

I thought I was ontop of my FPS game but boy was I wrong, the tribes skillset is so different from other shooters. It's been really refreshing to play something fun that is unique yet so familiar.

I have missed spinfuser duels.

Okay so I have received a Tribes Ascend beta key today, and I was wondering if anyone had thoughts about the game. I never played the first Tribes and I remember Tribes had a lot of similarities to PS1. Does anyone know if this is worth the download? How different is this game from Planetside?

just download it and play.

the original was as good as counterstrike back in the day & the reboot is very similar to it.

i just got a key myself & its been a good amount of fun.

Just played it and I was bored out of my mind after 5 minutes. Uninstalled it and never looking at it again.

So happy Planetside 2 is in development

It seems to me that there isn't much "ascending" due to the low energy recharge rate...I feel like there's more focus on skiing.
