[Angst Thread] My PS2 died - Page 2

ever go to the tournaments? We had a team and made it to NAC (North American Challenge) Finals last year. Didn't win but was fun.

Naw, I wasn't quite good enough to go. There was a really big skill curve once you got to about 5th. Lots of players around my skill level down to probably 20th or so. Plus I was like 13/14 back then and I don't think my parents would have let me.

I believe so, also, read in a forum that someone elses ps2 died after playing GTA San Andreas.

It's probably an older PS2 like mine was, and my DVD drive on it died (same with the guy on the other forum). I could easily get a replacement drive, but -

1. I could pick up a second hand PS2 (with a 2 year guarentee) for the same price.

2. They're a bastard to put in because of the design of the ribbon cables, once you remove those cables, they're a bastard to put in something.

3. PS2's are real sensitive when you take them apart, if you're not real careful when you dismantle it, you'll static kill it.

Damn, i'm still sad.

I used to frequent laser quest myself actually. I was hardcore into it, had a membership and everything. Was on the top ten rank for about a year. In fact reading this makes me want to go try it again.
