However, I dislike the new ammo/power bars for the centralized HUD. They're too big and too bright, especially paired with the darker nights. They eat up too much screen real estate and obscure everything behind them. I'm a huge fan of minimal UIs and this new HUD drives me batty.

Yeah I tend to agree about the HUD thing.
I think the performance patch is more geared towards lower end machines. I'm not sure if the higher end people will see much of a difference.
Are the bio changes going in tomorrow too? I honestly hope they work out. I really dislike how campy they were before.
