PS2 News page getting very lonely...

I'm just saying, as of Friday, it'll be a full 4 weeks since there was a news post on Planetside2.com!

Think we'll see a theme this week, or more radio silence with only 140 characters to save our sanity?

They have no time for news updates since they are working very hard on making open beta possible prior to E3.

Agreed on this item. Obviously, they are slightly overworked on other stuff at this point, which in some ways portends good things for a beta release, however it would be fun to see more official info coming out.

im a new guy and tried to get a mag but no code in the uk ones and the U.S ones are hard to get.

iv noticed news a bit slow lately but i assume they are busy for E£ and the odd pic from twitter keeps me going. cant wait to get in to the game though and give it a try.

The community people's jobs are to be in the community while the developers develop, so that's unlikely.

More likely they just haven't much else to reveal that they aren't saving to blow minds at E3. It will have more impact there.

I'm happy with more screenshots at the moment, those are jaw droppingly good....

I'm sure there are a lot of people who want to play planetside2, waiting , and waiting on some kind of information, who don't know about facebook, or twitter, and who don't know about Planetside Universe. Higby, if your reading this, then consider putting a link on the PS2 site to this one. Something new here everyday, for potential players to read about and contribute to, to be involved in actively.

Something to the effect of:

Goto planetside-universe.com to read whats new and being talked about Planetside2. Get the lastest facts - debunk the lastest rumors. Be part of the comunity.

Get a PR type to spruce it up but help getting new people involved with it.

In fact I think I'll put that on my website as well. Maybe all the Outfit Websites and forums should make links directing everyone to PSU for current Information.

SOE never advertise properly, I think their entire PR department is made of the bits partner companies left behind after running their own marketing campaigns separate from SOE.

That or mummified corpses because paying for water and air for somethign never used was deemed a waste of resources.

honestly i really miss the backstory pages, i thought those were really cool. i like knowing what im fighting for and why. it was a cool immersion factor for me.

I've been visiting the PS2 site for a few months and only recently found out about PSU from an article about PS2.

There needs to be a link from PS2 to here.
