their facebook page said they have not had a beta announcment yet, its still "in the near future" "really soon" and "not much longer", so maybe that "in the next few weeks" comment was for open beta?

This question has probably been asked but I can't find it (i'm also very lazy at midnight). I remember before SOE mentioning they had a pool of priority beta applicants (previous PS1 players and PC Gamer key owners i believe).

At one time (I think it was higby) said that they would take all players from that pool until it was empty and invite them into beta.

At another time, another person said that they would take from that pool to a certain number, then every few weeks or so start adding more people in. Like a wave type thing.

I'm just wondering if anyone could shed light on which is correct, or if any PS2worker hasn't specified yet they could haha .

Few weeks = 3-4 weeks

Thus, beta will officially begin no earlier than June 25th, but no later July 6th.

It doesn't matter to much if some players never leave feed back in the forums or on surveys. A lot of teams these days just data mine what players are doing and kills ect. and balance around that.

And in all honesty that's the best way to go for balancing, because people have a notion of how something works, but the numbers don't. So even though some people may never say a word, just having them in there playing is providing feedback through stats.
