Hello,
I am completely new to the PS series. TBH I had no idea it existed until I heard PS2 announced at E3 and I am getting pretty stoked for it. While I wait for the game id love to know more about it, specifically in the difference between factions. There is a lot of cool stuff on this site about the history and backstory but I am looking for gameplay differences. Does one faction favor smaller vehicles? or more heavy hitting artillery? Does one faction use more hitscanor explosive style? do they all have bullet drop? who uses rapid fire guns etc. I want to know as many specifics as possible, but If you just want to leave a general comment, I would appreciate that too ps. I realise that some of these thing are more dependant on on class and cert |

That's a nice chart.
I hope this doesn't apply to PS2 tho. TR: High RoF and low damage should have no/low initial kick NC's description sounds just like what i expect projectile weapons to be like when operated by trained soldiers. |

Because that chart will probably be removed (unless PSU got permission to have it on here), here's the analysis.
Edit: I guess you'll have to goto photobucket to read it. :/ Edit2: This analysis only applies to guns and cannons. not shotguns, indirect fire, missiles etc. Edit3: If you need the analysis retyped, I'll retype it if there's enough interest. Last edited by Hosp; 2012-06-20 at 03:02 PM. |

I don't think things are going to be the same at all as they were in PS1 as far as mechanical differences between empires. Case in point: in PS1, TR vehicles were the most heavily armored, but also the slowest, but at least as far as aircraft are concerned, in PS2 it's the NC who have the slow, heavy vehicle with lots of arms and armor.

The old designations are still seem true: TR, More Dakka NC, Hittier overall VS, Versatility
